| Personal Details | Theatrical Experience/Training Eleven years ago I was invited to write a one act play, for a local amateur dramatic group.
So it was that on a wet and windy weekend, with nothing else to do, I locked myself in a room with my computer and, for the first time ever wrote a stage play. It was called ‘The Master Class’. I enjoyed writing it but it wasn’t until it was performed that I realised I was hooked on the art of writing plays for the theatre! To see an audience enjoy your work is an amazing buzz!
I’ve added to the list since those days. I now have seven plays published.
I also like to enter playwriting competitions, and have been successful in winning a few. Some new plays that I have written, I have held back from publication in order to enter these contests. These new pieces of writing are three full length plays entitled, ‘Le Pięge De Miel’ (The Honey Trap), ‘Keep The Home Fires Burning’, and ‘Black Hole’. While ‘Shakespeare! Bloody Shakespeare’ is a one act play.
All the other plays are published with New Theatre Publications.
