| Personal Details | Theatrical Experience/Training Manx born Judith Davis had her first play performed at school at the age of 10 – a derivative work - owing much to the Jennings stories of Anthony Buckridge. A passion for amateur dramatics as a teenager, pantos, play festivals, backstage work, was channelled, as wife and mother, into a literary direction. The author of several unpublished novels, and a prize-winning screenplay for a local video club, in 1995 she diverted to magazine short story writing and has been regularly published ever since. Her plays for NTP – Delivery and Overbooked are both rich in humour and character as they attempt to expose the intricacies and idiocies of the human condition. |
