Has always written with performance in mind and is therefore looking at publication for the first time. | Theatrical Experience/Training Maxine began her working life at 16, as Motorway Planning Assistant for an international construction company. Within a few years she had found her way to becoming a performer/writer for a community theatre company based in the West Midlands. University followed and a career spanning over twenty years teaching English and Drama in Further, Secondary and Independent Education. Maxine is now part of the Executive Team managing an independent school but still teaches some Drama. She has continued throughout the years to write scripts which has been performed by amateur, professional and school groups. In spite of a hectic career there has been a significant output of scripts in the last two years and these are listed below, including the award winning “Combination” (Rotherham Arts 2006). |
