| Personal Details Work Sought: Although born in Yorkshire, England, Mark has lived and worked most of his life in southern England, only recently returning to the North East. He is the former senior editor of national business to business publications ranging from industry, finance and the service industries. Learned his writing trade whilst serving with the Royal Navy and the department of Medical Aviation Research, preparing accident reports and documentation for service and government departments. Having left the Service to pursue a career in medicine, then realising his true vocation was in writing about people rather than cure them, he took a degree course at the London School of Journalism. Worked for a number of leading London publishing houses before becoming editor of a number of business to business publications.
A writer of a number of award winning short stories, Mark has written for Thames and BBC television. Early credits include episodes of Juliet Bravo and The Bill. Former writer /correspondent for Writers' News, Writing Magazine and WriteLInkPro. Mark turned to writing for the stage in 2004.
