Born in South Wales, of a Welsh Father and English Mother.
Educated at King Edward VI Grammar School, Bury St Edmunds
Qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1980.

Theatrical Experience
Founder member and now long-time Chairman of a village drama group, Scothern Players. Scothern Players credits include winning the NODA Award for Best Production in 2005 and being nominated for Best Play in 2007.
My wife has a Drama in the Community degree with first class honours and from whom I have learned much by some strange form of osmosis.
Acting credits include Charles in Blithe Spirit, Dvornichek in Rough Crossing and Bernard in Seasons Greetings.
Despite these credits there are many people who will always remember me for my portrayal of Spencer Berryman in the play published by NTP “The Inaccurate Conception” by Geoff Saunders. I can highly commend the play, it would be for others to comment on my part in it.
I am new to writing and my output, which cannot be described as prolific, is listed below … if indeed one item can constitute a list!
In commending Dial 01673 for Murder to you I can only say that Scothern Players are regularly approached to perform it as a fund-raiser for local organisations and we have helped raise many thousands of pounds not only for local good causes but it has also assisted in swelling Scothern Players coffers.
The good people at NTP reviewed it and it scored excellent for everything apart from punctuation? Or should that be! Further their narrative review includes the following “cheap and simple”, “original approach”, “family friendly”, “flow of the piece is brilliant”, “would make a fantastic production”. It is not for me to argue.
