Film and TV drama projects seeking commissions or co-production deals. | Theatrical Experience/Training Michael has several decades' experience in professional production, directing over 80 theatre productions; 200+ screen credits as broadcast TV writer/Programme Associate; and some 100 credits as corporate producer/director/writer.
He has published sell through videos (on Vinegrowing & Winemaking); constructed two substantial interactive viewdatabases for the Foreign Office; has a major BBC Radio classic dramatization credit ("Zuleika Dobson"); and two broadcast soap opera writing credits (STV's "Garnock Way").
He has produced, directed and scripted an 18 minute short film ("Old Mrs Chundle") of a Thomas Hardy short story; a karaoke video ("Vienna"), an award winning Super 8 short ("Image"), and some promos; adapted and directed "Tom Jones", "The Warden", "Love Letters" and other classics for the stage; directed many premieres of new theatre work (inc his own "Dead Woman's Ditch" – published as "Burning Passions"); and founded/ran regional touring group The Wessex Actors Company (1993-2006)
Current emphasis: development of feature thriller "The Palestrina Affair", marketing 6.5hr interactive 4 DVD set "The 2008 Nether Stowey May Festival and 10th Twinning Anniversary", several internet projects, book proposal seeking publisher ("Discovering Movies"), latest original play "The Balance of Mind" (also radio version), preparing plays for publication and representation by New Theatre Publications.
