Writing for stage was a new format to learn but she enjoyed the challenge and is pleased that it made the transition from radio to stage.
Co-founder of Freshly Starched Shorts, Cherry has written numerous short films, feature film and radio scripts. Her first attempt at a horror script, The Devil’s Chord, was shortlisted for the Paranoia Film and Script Festival. She is currently seeking finance for her latest script 'Rosie Slade Loves an Audience.’ A short screenplay of the script was shortlisted for the Wildsound Film and Script Festival – Toronto. The one act stage play has now been accepted for publication by NTP.
She is also the founder of Freshly Starched Films aiming to make entertaining films with a good story, beginning, middle and end! Attracting British money, talent and locations, and just a sprinkling of international 'je ne sais quoi.' |
