| Personal Details Work Sought: Paul enjoys working closely with companies on new work and is keen to write for a specific market and to deadlines. He would welcome commissions for new work. | Theatrical Experience/Training Paul has been involved in both the professional and amateur theatre since the age of 14 after he successfully auditioned for The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. A scholarship to R.A.D.A followed and he later studied playwrighting at Edinburgh University. After a spell in repertory theatre and with touring companies he got a ‘proper job’ and settled down to life as an amateur player with a number of groups in South London. Over the years Paul has won many awards at festivals for his acting and as a director but it wasn’t until 1987 that he found his true vocation when he won his first of many awards as a writer. His plays continue to win awards at festivals around the U.K each year and they have also been performed in Chicago, Melbourne, Prague, Stockholm, Madrid, Hong-Kong, Gibraltar and most recently Canada.
