Personal Details

 Theatrical Experience/Training

Tom trained at RADA as an actor and went on to work in television and theatre. Whilst at the RSC he wrote his first play, THE CRUEL GRASP, which was directed by the actress/director Linda Marlowe and produced at the King's Head Theatre, Islington. It was later produced at the Edinburgh Festival and was directed by the actress/director Janet Suzman before being translated into German by Fischer Verlag.
Tom's play ACID HEARTS was shortlisted at the Warehouse Theatre's international playwriting competition in Croydon and was then chosen to be produced as part of a special season at the Finborough Theatre in Earls Court. Later, his monologue AN UNEXPECTED STRANGLING was produced at the ETC Theatre as part of a monologue season. This was followed by a very successful production of THE CHAINSAW MANICURE, which was then translated into French and produced at the Avignon Comedy Festival. Tom runs a children's musical theatre course in Europe and on behalf of the Ambassadors Theatre Group in the summer.
His other stage work includes PECKHAM RUMBLE, SECOND WIND, THE CLEAN-UP, THE BELLINGHAM TRAP and PUPPETS OF LOVE. Children's musicals include UPMARKET, CLASS ACT, THE SCRAGGS and THE FISHERMAN'S SONG.
