| Personal Details Work Sought: Carole has written a number of short plays for the local Eisteddfod, all have won first class certificates. She would be very happy to write for similar groups, and adapt her plays or pantomimes for special needs or specific numbers of cast. | Theatrical Experience/Training Carole has been involved with all aspects of theatre since early childhood, and comes from a theatrical family. After many years of treading the boards, became Director’s Assistant for a local production of "Oklahoma", and got the directing bug! The drama groups followed, Stagefright One in 1990, Stagefright Two in 1993, and the Upstage Company in 1977… and these now have 80 young people and 20 adult members. Because of lack of funds and sponsorship, Carole started to write plays and panto’s for the groups. This worked well, and to date the Groups have performed 12 of Carole’s extravaganza’s on the local stage. Carole spends most of her time teaching, and running the Community Arts programme at St. Luke’s Church, Jersey, but she finds a little time for her family! (Long-suffering and patient folk), and hopes to continue writing, and encouraging young people to enjoy stage-work.
